Monday March 2: Blankets and Books
Students can wear pajamas and bring a blanket to spread out and read.
Tuesday March 3: Guest Readers
Special guest readers will be popping in for reading blocks at Ross Woodward today!
Wednesday March 4: Read to a Stuffie
Students can bring in a stuffed animal to read to during an independent reading time.
Thursday March 5: Flashlight Reading
Flashlight reading at school! Flashlights provided by Ross Woodward!
Friday March 6: Schoolwide Buddy Reading and SEL Day
On Friday, all classes will participate in Buddy Reading, which will hopefully complement the other SEL Activities classrooms are planning for NHPS SEL Day!

Given the forecast for snow during school arrivals tomorrow morning, and because crews must continue the work of cleaning up after Monday’s blizzard, all New Haven Public Schools will be closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25. This includes before and after school programs. We must continue our work to ensure safe conditions for students and staff.

As crews continue the work of cleaning up after Monday’s storm, all New Haven Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24. This includes before and after school programs.

As a result of tomorrow's inclement weather forecast, all New Haven Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday. This includes before and after school programs.
Please note that a citywide parking ban will be in effect beginning Sunday, February 22nd at 12 noon and will remain in effect until lifted. For residents in need of an off-street parking option, there are multiple free and low-cost options available, including selected school parking lots, Yale University parking lots and downtown parking garages. Families must notify the office before 12pm, preferably by email or by note, of any student change in dismissal, whether it be a pick up or for the student to take the bus.
Families must pick up their students in the office BEFORE 3pm or at the student’s designated pick-up area at dismissal. THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FOR EARLY PICK-UPS FROM 3pm to 3:25pm. (This will also apply to early dismissal days, from 1-1:25pm.)
