Pj day in Pre-K 3 for winning this second week of The Gift of Reading!

2nd graders got to go the Shubert Theater for the Nutcracker show and back stage tour! We had the best time. Thank you to all our families for attending to be able to make this experience happen for all our students!

Movie and Popcorn for Grade 6-8 PBIS

Students who have earned 50 points can attend the Movie and Popcorn event!

Flashlight Friday last week for our Gift of Reading competition! We have one final week to get those book tickets in! Happy Holidays everyone!

Our first and fourth graders took advantage of the Stuffie Friday reading day during the Gift of Reading competition! We had sooo much fun while reading!

Shout out to some of our third grade readers who completed Mrs. Finnegan's library Thanksgiving reading challenge! You are Tur-riffic!

This week our entire Pre-K program got to go to the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven to ride the rails and meet SANTA! We had a blast learning all about the history of the trolley, hearing a winter story and getting to tell Santa all our wishes!

Happy 67th day of school! Shout out to the PTO for sponsoring our dress up day and the Math Committee at school for putting together all sorts of fun activities for our students to do!

The Gift of Reading Competition continues! We are having so much fun reading and filling in our book tickets. Congrats to our winners this past week with their extra recess! This week we're reading to win an extra PJ day! Check out the graph for how many books our classes have read, and peep our stuffie reading!

Congrats to all our very talented singers in graded K-3 and our 5th grade band! We loved hearing all your talents at the Winter concert yesterday. Thank you to Mrs. Brown and Mr. Fasano for helping to teach our young people all about their musical gifts! Special shoutout to the PTO for running the bake sale for the music department! Reminder - With the Hustle and bustle this Holiday Season - PLEASE SEND A PICK UP NOTE IN EACH DAY!
The doors at Ross Woodward close at 3 PM - Dismissal starts a 3:24 PM.
All early pick ups must send a note in for students, and should be picked up before 3 PM.
If you are attending an event like the concert, or HEART hero ceremony, and plan on taking your student(s) home, please send in a note ahead of time so teachers and staff are aware!
